Slice of Heaven - My Fave Green Tea Chocolate Cake

Whoever said that "green tea" is only a beverage?  Now, there's green tea flavored ice cream, bread, biscuits, chocolate, pastries, and probably some other type of dessert I haven't come across with yet.  My favorite without a doubt is the Green Tea Chocolate Cake.  Ohhhhh… truly a "slice of heaven"!

In this post, I just wish to share with you pictures of this favorite cake of mine.  This "slice of heaven" is from the Singapore-based bread company, Bread Talk.  I have been recently visiting Bread Talk's stores in Megamall in Mandaluyong City, Market-Market in Taguig City, and Glorietta in Makati City.  Every time, without fail, I would buy a slice of this scrumptious creation.   Come to think of it, I haven't seen any bakeshop who has a version of this cake.

I sure am looking forward to bakeries creating their own "restyling" of this wondrous delight.  Well, who wouldn't get enthralled with layers of green tea flavored chiffon combined with a layer of chocolate chiffon unified with a white chocolate cream filled with red mung beans?  Complete the burst of flavors with drops of white chocolate and cherries.  The taste is sheer magic!  Now, it's what I call FOOD NIRVANA.  LOL!

Delight your sense of sight with my delicious pictures of this delectable cake.  Maybe you can try it and share with me your experience, deal?  (With the red and green color of the cake, it looks Christmassy, isn't it?  You also get a feeling of happiness just by staring at the pictures.  LOL!)

P.S.  One of my earlier posts is about "a little bit of healthy self-indulgence" featuring of course the Green Tea Chocolate Cake.   Check it out:   Indulge a Little

Also, just so you know, this is not a paid advertisement.  LOL!  I wish...

  1. Oh my, looks so delicious! I'm curious, how much does 1 slice cost?

    1. A slice costs 72 pesos (about 1.75 US Dollars). One whole cake is of course cheaper which has additional pieces of green tea meringue on top. (9 slices = 1 whole cake)
