58 days! 83,520 minutes of waiting until Christmas Day. There's so much to look forward to on the holiday season, one of which is the showing of Les Miserables - the movie adaptation of one of the longest running musicals ever, and a certified worldwide theater phenomenon. When the character posters for the movie came out, I just have to feature them in my blog. (Did you sense that I was a Les Miserables fan? I'm sure you did.) I just cant wait! 83,519 minutes… 83,518… 83,517… 83,516… 83,515… oh, my!
About four months ago, sometime in June, the trailer of the movie was released. If you haven't got a chance to see it, here's a link to my blog post about that Les Miserables movie trailer:
Hugh Jackman plays the protagonist ex-convict Jean Val Jean. Russel Crowe is Javert, the straight-as-an-arrow fanatic police inspector who's after Jean Val Jean. Their posters are vivid with emotions prognosticating no less than brilliant performances on the upcoming movie.
Anne Hathaway plays Fantine, the destitute prostitute. Amanda Seyfried is Cosette, Fantine's child, and Val Jean's adopted daughter. Their posters show beauty and grace - some world's away from the grievous experiences life and fate had ushered them.
