I have been binge watching BL Series in YouTube.  Mostly on Filipino BL Series.  "BL" for the uninitiated refers to Boys' Love, a sub-genre of the "romantic" kind whose stories are specific to boy-on-boy relationships.  Apparently this started in Japan and became quite popular due to the "mass production" of such series in Thailand.  Now, the Philippines has joined the bandwagon and has produced quite a lot in the past year.  If there was anything considered good in this pandemic, it's the rise of good quality motion pictures on the Internet.  Be it full features, shorts, documentaries, sitcoms, miniseries and series.

Finally, Youtube singing sensation and international recording star Charice Pempengco or more popularly known with just a single name, "Charice", in an interview in a local showbiz talk show this afternoon of 02 June 2013 admitted to being a lesbian.

My Reaction to Anderson Cooper's Coming Out of the Closet

The closet has glass doors.  Quite a number of people from the media has known all along, that CNN anchor Anderson Cooper is gay.  This is what I have read in most articles in the Internet.  Hence, his coming out to most Americans is not really a surprise.  He was even named one of the 50 most powerful gays in America in Out Magazine in April of this year, moths before his actual coming-out.  So, why did he trend in social networking sites, and made quite a huge noise yesterday when he came out of the closet?
