Look, up in the sky. It's a bird... it's a plane... it's... it's SUPERMOON!
Take some time to see the moon tonight. The sky is adorned by the gorgeous moon. They say it's a "supermoon". The moon shines brighter and appears bigger than usual. It is because it's in a perigee-syzygy as I heard in one news report earlier this evening. Perigee is that point in the elliptical orbit of the moon at which it is nearest to the earth while syzygy is the alignment of these heavenly bodies.
The supermoon started Sunday night ( 6 May 2012) and I think will end tomorrow night (?). Do check it out. We won't see the next supermoon until after a number of years. So, enjoy... enjoy what's here now! It's lovely.
